Churchman and educator. Bishop Garnsey was a leader in the Australian Student Christian Movement both in Sydney and nationally. He was Headmaster of the Canberra Grammar School (1948-1958) and Bishop of Gippsland (1959-1974). In his retirement he wrote a biography of his father.
