Biographical notes:

Philadelphia architect.

Eyre began his career in 1877 when he joined the Philadelphia office of architect James Peacok Sims. After Sims' death in 1879, Eyre took over the office. Between 1912 and 1939 he worked in partnership with John Gilbert McIlvaine.
