"Long" John Nebel (1911- ) was an American radio broadcaster and talk show host. He began his career in radio broadcasting in 1954. In New York City he worked for WOR as host of a late night talk show before moving to WNBC in August, 1964, where he remained for the rest of his career. He conducted a variety of interview, talk, and telephone shows, including Addio, Long John Nebel All Night Show, Long John Nebel Early Hour, Long John Nebel Phone Show, Straight Line, Long John Nebel Versus, and Monitor.
